River House Events is a waterfront wedding venue located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, Florida. This four-star venue offers couples and their guests gorgeous views of the Matanzas River and St. Augustine Lighthouse. Situated directly on the Intercoastal Highway, this unique event space offers both indoor and outdoor settings for your ceremony and reception. River House Events prides themselves on their old-world charm, creative flair, and romantic atmosphere. Facilities and Capacity This elegant wedding venue can accommodate up to 240 guests. The interior of River House features both new and antique furnishings, as well as a color palette of soft, muted gold, and sage green. They exude an upscale yet comfortable setting. Couples may choose from the following event spaces:

• The Grand Ballroom - perfect for lavish affairs and features a hardwood dance floor, gorgeous water views, and French doors that overlook the terrace. It can be used for your ceremony and/or reception.
• River House Terrace - ideal for your outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour. Your guests will descend down lit terrace steps to tumbled stone pavers, where they will experience breathtaking views of the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
• The Conservatory - situated just off the Ballroom and boasts travertine floors, white walls, iron-framed mirrors shaped like palladium windows, and antique hanging chandeliers. This garden room can seat 24 guests.

Services Offered This full-service venue lets you select your own outside vendors for a truly one-of-a-kind affair. Tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, along with setup and cleanup. They only host one event per day, allowing their staff to give you the time and attention you deserve. River House Events also has a list of approved caterers to select from, ensuring your delicious meal exceeds your expectations. Additional services include:

Other Facilities You and your wedding party can start your day in the venue's spacious Bride’s Room and Board Room, typically used as a groom’s lounge. Their Bride’s Room features a private entryway, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, tables, white Chiavari chairs, and access to a private bathroom. The Board Room boasts a rosewood table, 14 leather chairs, a full-length mirror, cable TV access, and a beautiful view overlooking the southeast end of the terrace. This unique space also opens up to their Library for mingling during cocktail hour.
