Cabins were very comfortable and staff was extremely helpful. The swimming area is good. Activities for kids were terrific! Had a great time and will come again! The 24-room rustic wood and stone lodge at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park, sits serenely on a high cliff overlooking Pennyrile Lake near Dawson Springs. Open year-round. Rooms available by late afternoon. Lodge room check-out by 11 a.m., local time. We are now pet friendly! Other lodging options include 13 cottage rentals and camping sites. Camping check-in is 1 p.m. and camping check-out is noon. No more than two pets are allowed per room/cottage.
