Currently, we're owned by The Anschutz Corporation through the Broadmoor-Sea Island Company. Resort Overview Our main resort sits at the base of Cheyenne Mountain, about 5 miles from downtown Colorado Springs, at an elevation of 6,230 feet. The property includes hotel rooms, conference facilities, sports centers, and a spa surrounding scenic Cheyenne Lake. In addition, we have two unique lodges: Cloud Camp: Located at the summit of Cheyenne Mountain, offering a mountaintop wilderness experience. History We have a rich history in sports, having hosted national and world skating and hockey events at the original Broadmoor World Arena and golf championships at our Broadmoor Golf Club since 1921. Our grounds have also been the site of prestigious clay shooting competitions. Architecture & Facilities The architecture is Mediterranean Revival, with our iconic pink stucco exterior blending into the surrounding landscape. Our main building, Broadmoor Main, was built in 1918, followed by several expansions over the decades, including Broadmoor South, Broadmoor West, and other wings.
