There are 2 airports on the island of St. Lucia; George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) which is in Castries, approximately 20 minutes driving distance from the Bay Gardens Hotel; and Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) located in the south of the island, in Vieux Fort, is 1 hour and 30 minutes away from hotel. Local Shuttle Info: There is a local bus service which goes to Castries at a cost of $2.25 EC (Eastern Caribbean dollars). It runs from 5:30 am - 11:30 pm and takes about half an hour to get to Castries depending on the number of stops made on the way and the level of traffic.In addition, the Bay Gardens Resorts complimentary shuttle services runs among our 3 properties daily and takes our guest to the beach. This is a free service is available every hour on the half hour beginning at 9:30am to 10:30 pm.
