Hi! You can call me Dez, or Desi. I am passionate about all things beauty- I have been a makeup artist for over 10 years. Naturally, hair and makeup go together, so of course, I started to style hair over 5 years ago. I believe that hair and makeup should compliment a whole look head to toe. Pops of color, sparkle, and any spicy element makes my heart happy. I love working with brides who have more stylized visions for their big day, or maybe need help creating a look that is unique to them. I’d describe my personal style as a little bit boho, a little rock n’ roll, and a little retro. I’ve been voted Best of Weddings in The Knot for 5+ years, and have been featured in Brides Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, and Pop Sugar. As much as I love wedding and special event makeup, I also do makeup and hair for commercial, print, headshots, and editorial shoots in Los Angeles.
