We modeled our wedding venue after a wedding we attended years ago where all the friends and family members came to a resort and celebrated the occasion over a period of several days, several meals, multiple excursions, numerous conversations, and lots of shared love and laughter. At Willow Springs, we operate a farm with the same approach to wedding parties. We provide the wedding venue AND we provide a variety of affordable overnight accommodations for your family and friends to share in the celebration before, during, and after the ceremony. Some of your guests will reside in the renovated lodge with the adults in the queen bedroom suites and the kids upstairs with eight twin beds and plenty of carpeted floor space. Meals for your group can be prepared in our commercial kitchen as a group effort or we can make arrangements for a local caterer to spoil you. Other guests will land in the one bedroom fully furnished cabins with a sofa bed in the living room, located just a short walk from the lodge. And for the adventurous, our campground, equipped with a community kitchen and bathhouse, is located up the hill amongst the trees. Ample space is available for dozens of tents and van/rv camping sites with water. We also have available a furnished yurt and 2 bell tents. The Heart Center houses an additional family room for group activities and a 1000 square foot multi-purpose Yoga Studio. Let us arrange for a group massage or an instructor to lead you through a class of yoga, tai chi, palates, or martial arts. Directly behind the lodge is a relaxing patio with the nice ambiance of a meandering water feature. A covered outdoor BBQ grill, six person hot tub, and wood burning sauna is also available for your use. Our guests have enjoyed strolling through the herb garden and permaculture garden, and if you are lucky with your timing, having the opportunity to pick some of the fresh herbs and produce for your meals. Grab some farm fresh eggs from the chicken coop. It's all part of the experience. The event venue is located adjacent to the garden area and offers an outdoor wet bar, fondly called "The Pirate Ship", a group bon fire pit, the pavilion and the event terrace that is an elevated platform that can comfortably seat 50 guests or you can set up chairs for a larger group on the lawn below. The pavilion is a 1700 square foot barn that is open on three sides. This structure is ideal for group meals, reception area, wedding dinners or dance floor. Your Willow Springs experience would not be complete without a walk along the trails above the Yuba River with easy entry to one of the many famous water holes. Go swimming. Sit on the boulders and relax and soak in the sun. Another popular spot is Bullard's Bar Reservoir where the water is warmer and ideal for water skiing, wake boarding, jet skiing or just floating in an inner tube. Water sports rentals are conveniently located at Emerald Cove Marina.
