History
The Western Racquet Club was opened in 1961 to give children a place to swim and play tennis. Modeled after racquet clubs all over the country, the clubhouse is a 5,000-square-foot, two-story building with a hint of Swiss Architecture. In 2001, it went under renovations to remodel and add new features to the club like meeting rooms and casual dining.
