Originally built in 1918 as a retreat for visiting executives from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, The Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa opened to the public in 1929 and recently celebrated its 75th anniversary. In 2006, guests will experience the Rebirth of a Legend with more than $15 million in renovations, including the addition of a new Red Door Spa. Today, the resort is operated by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide as part of The Luxury Collection.
