The Village Events presents The Village & The Village Farm -- two wedding venues located in downtown Kearney and just outside of Gibbon, Nebraska, respectively. Both of these event centers are designed for couples to experience a luxurious and all-inclusive weekend of festivities as opposed to a “one day rush”. Offering comprehensive packages and two breathtaking historic properties, these venues are ideal settings for dreamy celebrations of every style and size.

Facilities and Capacity
Originally built in 1940, The Village sits in the heart of Kearney in a restored and renovated community hall. This charming building is rich in history and can accommodate up to 300 guests in its spacious interior. The banquet hall features exposed beams, some of which are charred from a 1940 fire, brick walls, a sparkling chandelier, and wood ceiling tresses. String market lighting is also draped from steel beams to lend the room a romantic ambiance. The space comes with a fully equipped prep kitchen, ADA accessible and unisex bathrooms, and a baby changing station. Upstairs, a get-ready suite includes two queen beds, a kitchenette, a shower, a washing machine and dryer, and numerous mirrors and outlets. For soon-to-be-newlyweds who prefer an outdoor and barn setting for their wedding, The Village Farm is available on the outskirts of nearby Gibbon. Nestled next to the Wood River, this 10-acre farmstead welcomes visitors to its custom-built, 100x100-foot pergola, multiple outdoor ceremony sites, and vintage barn. This classic red pavilion was constructed in 1911 and boasts cement flooring, beams that crisscross the ceiling, an elegant crystal chandelier, and a built-in bar. A farmhouse is situated close by for getting ready with the wedding party and socializing with friends and family.

Services Offered
Weekend rentals of The Village & The Village Farm begin on Thursday morning and last through Sunday afternoon. This three-and-a-half-day booking gives couples and their loved ones plenty of time for setup, the rehearsal dinner, the main event, a day-after brunch, and cleanup. Packages come with chairs, banquet tables, linens in a variety of colors, a projector and TV, a sound system, and parking. Bar services are provided by the venue, which includes custom craft cocktails, premium brand liquors, and an experienced bartenders. Additional items such as officiants and arbor rentals are also available.
