Our room was clean and comfortable. The microwave and mini fridge were much appreciated. The balcony overlooking the river and the sunset was wonderful! Appreciated the restaurant on site! Both the receptionist and a person I believe was the housekeeping supervisor, were very gracious. Would definitely return! Have stayed here several times. The rooms are clean. Service is good and the location allows for ease of access for most of the activities people come to Crystal River for. Food is good, kayaking, manatee tours and boat rentals all leave from the hotel. Loved location and restaurant. Very old! This is a small hotel with a lot of character and history. It was built in 1949 by one of the founders of CBS. Many famous people have stayed here.It was renovated in 2000 and more upgrades were done in 2004. All of our rooms face the water. The rooms have either a King bed with a sleeper/sofa or 2 double beds. Some rooms have a microwave and small fridge. Most people reserve in the winter to go diving in the springs and swimming with the manatee. In the summer they go boating, fishing and scalloping. The meeting room is for smaller groups. There have been receptions and parties in it. We offer a laid back atmosphere where you can relax and watch the sunset. Have your coffee in the morning and watch the manatee in the marina.
