The Monarch is a historic wedding venue located in Baxter, Tennessee. Originally built in 1920, the historical warehouse was renovated in 2018, and now serves as a venue with an industrial-chic aesthetic. Both the property and the dedicated team that runs it, provide a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere for soon-to-be-weds and their guests. Facilities and Capacity The Monarch features a two-story floor plan, with over 16,000 square feet of space for you to customize into your dream celebration. Painted brick walls, concrete floors, and gold & crystal chandeliers decorate the first floor of the Main Hall, to create a bright, airy aesthetic. Up to 275 of your guests can be comfortably seated underneath the exposed wood beams, which can be decorated to match your nuptial dreams. Upstairs is the second-floor venue space, which provides a warm, rustic atmosphere with exposed red brick and large windows for a lush, scenic view. With a 275-person capacity, this area has the visual inspiration of a New York loft, with original hardwood floors and a black ceiling. For outdoor cocktail hours and photo sessions, the patio and courtyard both complement the venue’s industrial vibe and feature steel walls and concrete grounds. Guests can enjoy your hors d'oeuvres and mixed drinks in privacy, while still enjoying the fresh air and sunset. In addition, you and your wedding party will have two separate get-ready suites to choose from. One suite provides you with full-length mirrors, plush velvet lounge furniture, and six styling stations. The second suite features cozy leather couches, a card table, and a shuffleboard table. A total of 67 spaces are available in the parking lot, with wheelchair accessibility to accommodate as many guests as possible. The team’s site coordinator will be available on your big day, to coordinate with your vendors. Your caterers will be free to use the site’s prep kitchen.
