Enchanting black wrought-iron gates welcome you to the back lawn and large, landscaped patio perfect for garden weddings and outdoor receptions. The patio area features a stunning fountain, outdoor fireplace and decorative arbor. This extends into an even larger, covered brick patio area featuring multiple columns, carriage-style lighting, and remote-controlled tent sides. A rustic original smokehouse and decorative black fence provide additional interest. Inside, the house is fashioned with rich décor, beautiful staircases, columns, original wood flooring, fireplaces, a baby grand piano, formal parlor and an airy veranda.

History
The Kingsbury's of VT built this estate in the early 1800's when they relocated South. The Greek Revival structure with its surrounding gardens and stables became home of some of the world’s most prolific racing horses. This estate won its true prominence, however, in the days of the Civil War when Union General Tecumseh Sherman chose the Inn as his Union headquarters and thus spared the property from destruction. Only on its third family owner, the property has undergone extensive updates so the charm of this grand estate can meet your event needs.

The Inn is located on Rome Street in downtown Carrollton, Georgia just under an hour from downtown Atlanta. The Inn is situated on 12 beautiful acres of rolling hills and farm ground.
