Facilities and Capacity This versatile space can accommodate couples looking for an indoor, outdoor, or covered outdoor wedding for up to 100 guests. Couples can take advantage of the 33 acre property - a covered pavilion overlooking the pasture and a green, open field perfect for games or a cocktail hour, an elevated platform in a towering grove of trees for an intimate ceremony, and an indoor barn with bathrooms, tall ceilings, and custom-made rustic chandeliers. There are plenty of open spaces and unique backdrops to guarantee gorgeous photos on your wedding day. Pricing We are new owners of the farm and have adopted a new pricing plan that we hope will help our couples have more control with both the planning and cost of their wedding. We encourage our couples to pick and choose what options/extras they would like to have for their special day. They can either pay for the services they would like, or they can do a majority of the work themselves. The Farm at Stillwater Spring would love to help you make your dream wedding a reality! History Abraham Lincoln came face to face with General George B. McClellan and his army on this farm in October of 1862 after the nearby Battle of Antietam. The land has been cultivated and grazed since the early 1800s. Location The Farm at Stillwater Spring is nestled in western Maryland's hill and valley country near the Potomac River. It resides just a south of the Burnside Bridge at Antietam National Battlefield. The farm is within 15 minutes of three national parks, lovely accomodations, and great kayaking on the Potomac River; offering your guests plenty of options for days trips and sightseeing while in the area.
