Looking for a memorable place to say I Do? Consider The Center for Fiction. We've relocated from Midtown Manhattan to the heart of Brooklyn's Downtown Cultural District in Fort Greene. Our beautiful new building features a variety of spaces to host celebrations of many sizes, but our intimate and elegant Member's Lounge would be perfect for a wedding reception. Located on our quiet second floor, our Member's Lounge provides great natural light and a view of our ample outdoor terrace. The Member's Lounge can also be divided by a built-in glass partition, if necessary, and rented in conjunction with the entire second floor and terrace during warmer months. The Center also offers meeting rooms on our quiet second floor for smaller gatherings. All our spaces are ADA compliant. Contact us with your preferred date and time, number of attendees, estimate of hours needed, A/V requirements, company info if applicable, if you'd like catering, and whether you are a member of the Center. We can take some of the stress out of the wedding experience by offering advice on catering, photography, and flowers from vendors we recommend (and love working with!). And we have a Universal Life Minister on staff who can marry you.   Special Literary-Lovers Ceremony You don’t have to be a lover of books to use our space, but if you are, we can help you make your event extra-special. Our staff can work with you to select literary quotes and readings that can be incorporated into your ceremony.
