Facilities and Capacity The Backyard Venue is an ideal venue for couples wanting a private location away from the bustling city. This property is only 10 minutes east of downtown McKinney, near Princeton, Texas, with captivating scenery at every turn, featuring indoor and outdoor event spaces. Each space has a rustic aesthetic and romantic atmosphere for couples and their guests. With a capacity of up to 120 guests, The Backyard Venue is the perfect place to host a celebration with a guest list of up to 160 guests since attendace is usually 70-80% of the total invited. The air-conditioned white barn features gorgeous double sliding wooden doors for a grand entrance and gorgeous details in cedar. The outdoor space offers two options for your ceremony. The Garden makes for beautiful colorful pictures on the turf area with white padded chairs and a serene pondless waterfall as your backdrop. The Woods has towering trees with string lights and white benches making it a perfect ceremony site for outdoor lovers. The Gather is a covered pavilion featuring an outdoor kitchen corner perfect to set up the bar for cocktail hour. The Fire Pits area is a relaxing spot to sit back and enjoy some s'mores. With ample parking space, handicap parking, and golf-cart parking shuttle assistance, The Backyard Venue is ready to welcome your guests. Services Offered The Backyard Venue is available to book for wedding ceremonies and receptions as well as elopements and showers. On a 12-hour rental day, our fee includes the use of two get-ready houses, rectangular and/or round tables, white padded folding chairs, setup of table layout, and parking with staff assistance. This venue allows outside vendors and offers a list of preferred vendors upon booking.
