The SpringHill Suites by Marriott is centrally located between historic Providence, Rhode Island and the scenic seaside city of Newport, RI. We are just off Interstate 95 between Connecticut and Massachusetts. Our hotel features spacious studio suite rooms, which include a separate sitting area, work desk, mini-fridge and microwave oven in every room. We also feature an indoor pool and whirlpool spa, expanded fitness room and coin-operated guest laundry facilities. We have a meeting room available for rental for small meetings, conferences and events.

Rhode Island Room
Capacity: Seating capacity can vary between on set-up style. Function room can seat a maximum of 12 attendees. Conference Style (8-10 people): a long rectangular table or grouping of tables in the center of the room with chairs on all sides; ideal for small committee meetings or discussion groups. Rental Charge: Rental rates start at a minimum of $150 for 0-4 hoursÔÇÖ use and $200 for a full-day meeting (up to 8 hours). An additional charge of $45 for every hour for any meeting going over 8 hours will be applied. Overnight holds will have an additional fee of $75. Rates may be negotiable for extended use or if a large block of guest rooms is booked in conjunction with the Meeting Room. Payment: Rental fee is payable on the day of the meeting or taken in advance if requested by meeting coordinator by cash, check, or credit card. A credit card number must be given during the booking in order to guarantee the block of the space and time. Charges may also be placed on a direct bill if the group/company has already established a direct bill account with the Springhill Suites. Hours: The room is available for rental between the hours of 6:00 am to 11:00 pm daily. Amenities: The rental fee includes pitchers of ice water, cups, coasters, notepads, and pens. There is a white board and cork board mounted onto the wall. Dry erase markers and erasers are also available. The room has complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access. Audiovisual: There is a mounted projection screen on the wall, a freestanding projection screen, as well as a television with cable available for use, complimentary. Two flip chart easels with pads and markers are available for rental at $25 each. Other equipment such as LCD, slide, or overhead projectors can be rented directly from local audiovisual suppliers. The guests may also bring their own AV equipment and laptops. Catering: During the meetings, the hotel can provide deluxe hot and cold breakfast buffet (during normal breakfast service hours); a morning break consisting of Danish, muffins, and coffee; and/or an afternoon break with freshly baked cookies, soft drinks, and bottled water. Please refer to the ÔÇ£Break MenuÔÇØ for full details and pricing. The coordinator may also make their own arrangements with an outside caterer to order food and have it delivered. Guests/attendees may also bring in their own food, beverages, and paper goods. Alcoholic Beverages: Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Meeting Room or any public areas of the hotel at any time.
