This hotel is clean and maintained well. The pool is clean and the staff made sure towels were available at all times. The breakfast that is provided is adequate and our stay was enjoyable. Room was clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. When we learned Whiteface Mountain was closed to hikers, the staff was very helpful in suggesting Mt. Van Hoevenberg as an alternate. The pool and hot tub were also welcome activities for the cool weather. The advertisement for the hotel is clear and transparent in listing what they offer and this was exactly what we needed for our quick trip to Lake Placid.
