Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a good set up. Breakfast area was good and food selection was good. Brand new hotel conveniently situated across from the Virginia Tech. With many restaurants and stores within walking distance to the hotel, the Residence Inn Blacksburg-University is ideal for long-term stays or quick visits to the Blacksburg area. All of the nicely appointed rooms are suites that feature full kitchenettes. The hotel features a large 24 hour fitness center, indoor pool, laundry facilities, and an outdoor fire pit. Utilize the complimentary shuttle to go to the Moss Arts Center or to cheer on the Hokies football team at the Lane Stadium.
