Staff very friendly. Hotel clean and beautiful. Easy access to events and highways. Convenient parking. The staff was receptive and helpful, especially George (valet). Great location, clean facility. Hotel lobby was a beautiful setting for the wedding! Holiday decorations added to our wedding festivities. Sleeping accommodations were great. A train station restored and reused. Brilliantly done. Dinner was simple and unpretentious with crisp salad and perfectly cooked pasta and the frying pan dessert just plain decadence. Well worth staying here ! Very interesting. The hotel is an old railway station turned into a hotel. Rooms were clean, staff friendly and you can take your dog with you. Very friendly staff and nice rooms. Would stay again for sure. A stay at the Lackawanna Station Radison is extraordinary because you are in a train station of yesteryear. The lobby is marbled and a work of art, taking your imagination to what it may have been like 100 years ago. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast at Carmen's in the lobby area was delicious, coffee very rich and quite reasonable. If you're in the Scranton area, it's well worth staying here.
