The hotel appearance was very nice and front lobby/breakfast area was recently updated. The room was acceptable. Bathroom was clean. A fair hotel room for a fair price. There were two things noteworthy to report. 1) it was a last minute, spur of the moment decision to stay in the area. We booked a room through the national telephone reservation system and it was quick and easy. The reservationist we spoke with was courteous and knowledgeable. 2) the afternoon desk clerk at the facility was very helpful to an out of towner. We didn't know anywhere to eat and she recommended an excellent restaurant very close by. Then we wanted to find a public beach access area so we could spend a little time at the beach before it got too late. She told us exactly where we could go and didn't even have to pay for parking. That is hospitality and it is very appreciated when you encounter it. The Quality Inn & Suites is an affordable hotel near Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach where you can get more for your money. Amenities include free WiFi, free hot breakfast, a seasonal outdoor pool and business center. Guest rooms feature a microwave and refrigerator, premium cable channels and in-room tea and coffee.
