History
This historic building was originally constructed in 1887 as The German Insurance Bank, and later in its life housed Metro United Way and Liberty National Bank. This historic building was acquired by Louisville businessman Bryan Gillespie in 2015, who renamed the venue in honor of his mother. Gillespie also owns the famous Louisville art deco venue, The Gillespie. This neighboring venue is similar in style to Passalino’s, but can host up to 1,500 people.

Passalino’s is located in the vibrant downtown district of Louisville, less than 10 minutes from Louisville International Airport. It is also located only five miles from Louisville’s famous Churchill Downs Horse-racing track.
