Palace Event Center is a historic wedding venue located in Treynor, Iowa. Built in the 1930s, the barn was lovingly restored in 2016 to become the luxurious event space that it is today. Couples who choose to tour this venue will be drawn to its pristine white exterior, set picturesquely against the lush fields of western Iowa. A stone fountain gurgles out front, while around the side sits the pavilion with its graceful wooden arbor. Ceremonies can be held under this arbor or in the barn, which boasts polished hardwood floors, lofted ceilings, and exposed beams. Flickering fairy lights, draping chandeliers, and a towering stone fireplace add to the romantic ambience. In the daytime, the cavernous interior is flooded with natural light, and provides ample space for dining as well as dancing. Services Offered
All-inclusive rentals packages come with seating for 300 people, table setup and teardown, and a fully-equipped prep kitchen to use with couples’ choice of caterer. Large, tastefully-decorated get-ready rooms, replete with large mirrors and well-lighted vanities, are great for relaxing with loved ones and preparing for the big day. Out on the dance floor, a state-of-the-art climate control system allows for easy heating and warming depending on the time of the year. The venue’s sound system comes with wireless microphones and 85-inch LED TVs, as well as built-in lighting in multiple colors. DJs and bands are welcome to use these systems to create spectacular reception performances. For out of town guests, Omaha and Council Bluffs are a short 15 minute away, and the center offers shuttle services to both these cities. Plenty of lit parking is also available on site. The venue is ADA accessible, ensuring that all couples’ guests can use the space with ease.
