Mavris Arts & Event Center is a wedding venue located in Indianapolis, Indiana that melds contemporary sophistication with historic charm. The building dates back to 1883, when it was constructed along the train tracks of downtown Indianapolis and served as a terminal for grocery imports. Renovation on the warehouse began in 1999, and today it boasts an industrial-chic design that creates a romantic and nostalgic ambiance. For your special day, Mavris Arts & Event Center offers both indoor and outdoor locations, three banquet halls, a speakeasy, and a rooftop patio. Outside, the lush garden and tall fence create seclusion and tranquility for ceremonies and cocktail hours. Inside, the event center has three levels of glossy hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and original beams. The top floor provides the most cavernous space for your celebration and comes with both an East and West Room. In these halls you will find a grand piano, a pool table, and comfortable sofas and plenty of room for dinner and dancing. The Rooftop Patio features spectacular views of the Indianapolis skyline as well as a wooden pergola, fire pit, and comfortable lounge furniture. For smaller soirees, the Speakeasy is an atmospheric spot to host your festivities. This private and exclusive lounge has its own separate entrance, stamped concrete floors, original brick and hardwood beams, and a clandestine and intimate feel. Services Offered
Rental of Mavris Arts & Event Center comes with 14 hours of wedding time between 10am and midnight. Also included are get-ready suites for the wedding party, in-house ceremony décor and overnight storage, and an experienced event designer. This specialist will assist you and your partner with everything from timeline creation and setup to day-of coordination. For all your dining needs, the venue provides in-house catering services. Four people can attend a tasting, during which the Executive Chef will work with you to create a menu that suits your vision and tastes. Menus can be crafted to feature hors d’oeuvres, bar services, dinner and dessert, late night snacks, and brunch.
