Loved staying in this great old hotel that's been updated for today's travelers. All good! We had a very relaxing stay. We will absolutely be back! Hotel staff are extremely accommodating. We arrived with muddy bikes (and riders) after encountering storms and a soupy trail. We were directed to the bike wash and provided with safe bike storage. The room was large and very well appointed. A dryer is available for wet gear. The restaurant is top notch. We will definitely stop here again! The room was clean, and staff was friendly. From the time we entered, everyone we encountered made our stay special. Very friendly and accommodating staff! Drinks in the bar and dinner in the restaurant was amazing! Needed tire tubes but couldn't reach the bike shop while riding the Katy Trail. The desk clerk, Corey, went to the bike shop and bought tubes and levers for me. They were waiting for me at the front desk when I arrived. Outstanding service! Great hotel, great staff. Loved the nostalgia of the hotel. Also loved how you are allowed to bring your bike into your room. Hotel is very clean and beautiful. This historic hotel has very unique qualities that take you back in time! Meticulously maintained vintage hotel. The rooms are very nice, bed was perfect, shower was hot and A/C worked great. Complimentary breakfast was the standard continental style. Lobby area is really beautiful with ornate details. The hotel may be old but it has been restored/maintained retaining its charm. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sedalia. The Hotel Bothwell felt like stepping back in time except with modern day comforts. The architecture and downtown was charming and classic. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for your bikes. Really enjoyed everything about the experience.
