Fitger's Inn is a wonderful retreat at the gateway to the North Shore. We used it as our base camp for activities spanning a three night stay. The rooms are excellent and the property is in good condition. We ate at all three restaurants and were able to hang out comfortably when nothing else was going on. I highly recommend this hotel. Our stay was awesome. This is our second stay and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Duluth. We were there for our daughter's wedding. We recommended to others from out of town and they loved it. But Fitgers Inn is top notch! Lovely historical hotel. Staff was wonderful. Valet service was fast and the staff was very helpful. Attached to a mall with dining and shopping. Free valet parking. Veiw of lake was beautiful. The hotel was clean, and the staff was really nice. Clean and quiet. Hotel nice, staff fantastic. High ceilings, great food, great view. Love this classy, one of a kind, hotel. No pop machines to look at or key readers taking away from the beautiful wood doors. The staff is professional and friendly. Love the character of the rooms. Staff was excellent and accommodations were lovely. Great staff, very courteous and knowledgeable, clean rooms and facility, the same goes for the restaurant and shops. They do offer a senior discount which we did receive. Looking forward to a return visit.
