Whether on vacation or on a business trip Hotel Des Tourelles is ready to welcome you into this historic building from the 1800s. The Hotel des Tourelles in located along the Rhone river in the quarter of Saint Gervais between the Coulouvreniere and Iles bridges. In the middle ages the quarter of La Cite and the quarter of Saint-Gervais formed the old city of Geneva which was surrounded by a wall of both sides of the river. The wall was destroyed in 1850 and the Coulouvreniere bridge was erected in 1857 to connect both sides of the river. The building that currently houses the Hotel des Tourelles was built in 1885 and its turrets are the reason for the hotels name. While having retained their original character the hotels 22 rooms are now equipped with private showers and toilets. The hotel has been fully renovated in 2014. Every room has cable TV access to free WiFi and telephone with a direct line a mini-refrigerator a tea set a room safe and a hair dryer. Most of our rooms face the Rhone river. Located on three stories of the building the 22 non-smoking rooms are accessible by elevator. Front desk open from 07.00-22.00 hrs. Late check-in available on request. A breakfast buffet is available daily including rolls croissants cereals fruit juices yoghurts and hot drinks. There are dining options within close proximity of the hotel. Additional Information- Must provide the hotel with the security code on the credit card. Children aged 2 years and under stay free of charge in cribs. Children aged from 2 to 5 stay free of charge in existing beds. Children aged from 6 to 11 will be charged 15 CHF. Children 12 years and older are considered an adult. Extra beds are available for adults at 30 CHF per bed per night. The hotel reserves the right to without prior notification cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.
