Great value, comfortable bed, nice hot shower. The room was pretty with a great picture of the Golden Gate Bridge above the bed. Very nice sheets and a hot shower with great water pressure. Downtown Ukiah is known for its artsy flair with merchandise that is truly unique and in some cases, one of a kind from local artists. Downtown Ukiah is also host to many events including a weekly Farmers Market, Fabulous Flashback Car Show in September, and the Taste of Downtown featuring local restaurants and wineries in June. Downtown is also home to Ukiah Brewing Company & Restaurant which was the first certified organic brew pub in the United States. One block north of the Days Inn is the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds which hosts the annual fair in August in addition to with many other events. Area attractions and activities within a short drive of Ukiah include over 40 wineries, 2 casinos, fishing at Lake Mendocino and the City of Ten Thousand Buddha. The Mendocino Coast and spectacular redwood forests are within a one hour drive from Ukiah.
