The museum of Pacific War, famous Das Peach Haus, Wal-Mart, HEB and Stage Coach Theater are within 1 mile radius. Guests can satisfy their taste buds with authentic traditional German gourmet food at numerous German restaurants and bakeries on the main street or try local wines at various wineries surrounding the city. Outdoor-oriented guests can hike or climb the 2nd larges single rock in the world (after Ayers in Austrailia) at Enchanted Rock State Park, enjoy a day strolling through LBJ National Park going back in time in memory of our 36th president. Dazzling display of colors is a sight not to be missed at Wild Flower Seed Farm, the largest in the state of Texas.
