We had a fabulous stay at Classic Lodges Hickstead Hotel. The staff was fabulous with nothing being too much trouble. The rooms were lovely and very well appointed. If I ever need a hotel in that area again then I would certainly book again. There is a Wetherspoon a short drive away in Burgess Hill. Set in peaceful Sussex countryside nestling beneath the Downs yet only 20 minutes from Gatwick Airport and the centre of Brighton the Hick stead Hotel is the perfect location for a country break a private conference or meeting or a Sussex country wedding.The hotel has 52 en suite bedrooms including Executive Rooms. Our Oak Tree Bistro and Grange Bar offer outstanding menus and the fabulous Courtyard Suite provide top quality and extremely flexible meeting facilities.Major routes to London are close by and on our doorstep are some of the best sightseeing locations in Sussex making The Hick stead the perfect base from which to explore this lovely county.
