Property Description

Canterbury Conference Center is located on the eastside of the greater Orlando metropolitan area, three miles north of the University of Central Florida and just 20 minutes from downtown Orlando and the Orlando International Airport. Canterbury is within 40 miles of well known theme parks such as, Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, the Holy Land Experience, and a wide variety of water parks. The location of our retreat and conference center provides the perfect environment for an adventure abroad, or relaxation and quiet reflection within. Canterbury is an independent nonprofit conference, retreat center affiliated with the Episcopal Church and open to all.Nestled on 48 beautifully wooded acres with Lake Gem as its centerpiece, Canterbury's charm helps make every event memorable.For your event's particular needs, we offer five meeting rooms of different sizes (boardroom to banquet hall), each equipped with WiFi, audio/visual equipment and accouterments to meet your requirements.If you'll be lodging with us, we offer 45 private guest rooms each with their own bathrooms ÔÇô all linens are provided, offering you all the comforts of home, intentionally without the distraction of television and telephone.Canterbury's food service team is fantastic, preparing and serving homemade cuisine to thrill your palette. Meals are served buffet style in our dining room at regular mealtimes, with the options of a continental breakfast, snacks, reception or banquet set-ups also available. Outside of our dining room, guests can enjoy their meal on our dining deck, complete with tables, chairs and umbrellas, overlooking Lake Gem.
