The Columbus Airport is centrally located, with quick access to Uptown Columbus and an easy drive for West Georgia and East Alabama travellers. The airport prides itself on providing fast and efficient service, without long lines for security that would be experienced by passengers boarding in Atlanta. The Airport is located within minutes of Fort Benning. There is no shuttle service provided to the Columbus Airport from the property. However, a 24 Hour Taxi Service is available. The Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, GA is about an hour and half drive from Columbus. A shuttle service called "Groome Transportation" travels to Atlanta and back to Columbus, 36 times daily. However, this shuttle service is not provided through the hotel. NOTE: The main office for "Groome Transportation" happens to be walking distance from the hotel.
