The location of this hotel at 15th & Collins in South Beach is my prime reason for staying there. I do like the quiet atmosphere. Also the courtyard in the center with the tall palm trees is very attractive and photogenic. The double queen bed room is bigger and better than the king bed room. Aqua offers a refreshing new take on the hip, boutique hotel trend. Unpretentious yet cool and sexy, the lobby is light and has a fun decor: surfboard for a registration desk, a keyhole window with a view of the lush courtyard, reflecting pool and resident hammerhead shark. The courtyard contains two fountains and an over-sized hydro spa; a sun terrace on the second level offers an excellent view of the fun on Collins Avenue. Aqua is in the hub of SOBE and minutes from the glittering and pulsating nightlife of the area. Aqua is a short walk to the beach, Lincoln Road pedestrian mall, Ocean Drive and only 3 blocks from the Convention Center. Continetal Breakfast is served daily in the lounge. All rooms include electronic safe, mini-refrigerators, cable TV, WiFi, iron/ironing board and hair dryers available upon request. A super friendly, well-connected staff is at your service.
