About The UpScale Band aka A1 Party Band

We are The UpScale Band, an exciting eight-piece party group that gets everyone excited and happy. Our music is a mix of Funk, R&B, Pop, Rock, Country, Caribbean, and Jazz.We’ve played at all sorts of events—music festivals, business gatherings, government functions, sorority and fraternity meetings, themed celebrations, weddings, parties, and private get-togethers, pretty much everywhere! Our band was created in 2009 in the Greater Atlanta Area by Mark Anthony Alexander, our lead singer. Mark has been singing forever and has shared the stage with big names like Sammy Davis Jr. and Klymaxx. Normally, we’ve got five musicians (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and percussionist), three singers, and a sound engineer. But we’re flexible and can even add a full horn section and DJ to fit your vibe. We’d be thrilled to make your next special occasion even more awesome.
