About The Bonaventure Quartet
At The Bonaventure Quartet, based in Atlanta, we're a special music group known for our mix of gypsy jazz and original swing tunes—consider us a blend of Django Reinhardt and Patsy Cline, jamming together on a stage that's both Parisian and Texan.
Our crew includes Charles Williams on guitar, Amy Pike as our vocalist, Dave Boling on guitar, Don Erdman handling the horns, Mark Bynum on bass, Marla Feeney on violin, Joel Morris on percussion, and Ken Gregory on trumpet and trombone.
Our collection of songs covers both our creations and beloved jazz classics, all heavily influenced by Django Reinhardt. Our setlist changes depending on the gig. For festivals or concerts, we'll play around 70% of the original tracks, mixing in some covers, Western Swing, or lesser-known tunes we're fond of. But for corporate events or weddings, we'll lean more toward familiar songs and standards, making up about 80% of the setlist to ensure the audience gets tunes they know and love.
