Both were reared in floral households and were instilled with a love of nature and handcrafted design that would impact their careers. Pete has a marketing degree, while Alex has a fine arts degree. After a few years in Astoria, the couple recognized a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Petals & Roots was founded by them and their toddler to provide bespoke flower creations for everyday occasions, weddings, and parties. Their attention to detail, politeness, and a deliberate approach to special event planning set them apart from the competition.
