Hellabloom is a floral design studio based in New York City that was started by Abby Schmeichel. Her fascination with flowers began when she was a child, when her parents ran flower shops in Brighton, Michigan, where she grew up. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in fashion, and she has always had a passion for art and design. Having worked in a few corporate professions and spent many years in the bartending industry, she chose to combine her expertise of fashion and design with her passion for flowers. She began her floral design career in 2016, and was mentored by some of the most prominent flower designers in New York City before establishing her own business. Because we are inspired by the interplay between nature's splendor and architectural design, we create custom floral themes for our couples that are tailored to their own taste, venue, and season. We'll get to know you and your preferences, and then create a design strategy that accurately expresses your vision and personality. We deal with a variety of environmentally conscious vendors, employ ecologically friendly procedures, and acquire as much as possible from within the local community.
