The Foggy Bottom Whomp-stompers are the DC area’s best–some would say only–prohibition era jazz band playing your favorite hits from the 1920s and 30s. With a mix of Hot Jazz, Dixieland, early Swing, Blues, we’re ready to liven up a speakeasy, gatsby-themed party, swing dance, or any given street corner! We are available to play any of the following events you may be planning: party, dance party, fall formal, divorce, bar OR bat mitzvah, ice cream social, and good old-fashioned New Orleans send-off (funeral)! Our fee is denominated in 1920s currency and is thus very reasonable.
