When I started out as a landscape photographer in 2015 as a hobby, I was approached to do senior portraits for hire in 2017. I was not keen on the idea because I was on the one track mind of just doing landscapes. I understood lighting and composition for landscapes, but wasn’t sure I could grasp that concept in portraits. I took on the challenge and haven’t looked back since. I am so grateful I had those opportunities in 2017 to do senior and family portraits. It’s where I want to be today photographing memories.
