When you’ve heard of the 50 Left, 50 Right brained mentality, Bindy O’Kelly, Crystal and Lace founder, is it. A natural born artist, with a love for the strategic, has always been a creative planner. She joined the Air Force at 17 and while a proud active duty USAF Sergeant, began helping other military members with their birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and other important events. The military being so mobile, challenged Bindy to accommodate large parties with little time and budgeting to do so. “I had to be very organized, detail oriented, and budget conscious, with a flair for bringing someone’s dream to life.” After the military, Bindy continued planning events for friends and friends of. “As my kids grew up, I then started on the next generation of events as I watched my kids friends grow up, graduate, get married, have children and go through life. What a joy to be a part of their lives and their wonderful journey as they matured and moved toward adulthood.” And so it went, Bindy the event planner was born. Fast forward to an MBA in Finance and an extensive background in accounting/finance, her ability to budget a dream in a realistic way sans losing the romanticism, translates strategically yet appears effortless. She holds an extensive vendors list and is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, to ensure the highest industry standards are met. She is currently working on 15 Weddings in 2015 and quickly booking up 2016!
