About Better By Tuesday
Our band, Better By Tuesday, began in July 2012 in Chesapeake, VA. It all started with four young men led by Jeremy Wilson. People often ask about our band's name, which came from our weekly Tuesday rehearsals. Our goal at Better By Tuesday is to bring positivity to music and explore different genres for music lovers. We have ten talented members, experienced in various instruments and vocals, who've played together for over eight years.
We cover a broad range of music styles like R&B, Pop, Rock, Motown, and Funk. Our sound is influenced by legendary artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, The Temptations, Bruno Mars, and Beyoncé. We're more than just a band; our performances keep the crowd dancing by smoothly transitioning between songs, offering non-stop shows for up to three hours long.
Beyond full band performances, we can adapt to different event needs, providing smaller groups or adding DJ services during breaks. We've played at weddings, private events, cafes, clubs, and more. Winning awards like the Wedding Wire "Couples Choice Award 2020" and the Hampton Roads Encore Music Awards "Best Live Band 2020" has been incredible recognition for our dedication.
