I have stayed at many hotels over the years but this one was very close to the top. After I arrived I noticed that I left my cellphone in the taxi. I panicked. The desk attendant asked what taxi company and I told her. I did not know the name of the driver nor was I able to give much of a description of him. She immediately started calling the taxi company trying to locate the driver. She completed my check in and I went to the room to gather myself because all of my information for the trip was on that phone. Several minutes later I received a call in the room from the desk attendant saying that they had located the driver and he was on the way to return the phone. Secondly, the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Thirdly, we hosted a family dinner following a funeral in the dining area at the hotel and needless to say all of the hotel employees were very kind and helpful. Lastly the desk attendant I found out later was Ms. Royale Johnson. I am a marketing professor at a university in Dallas and will be using her and this experience as an example of what excellent customer service looks and feels like.
